KKKramer! yay!

Speaking of rants, and terrible shit being caught on camera and put on Youtube, this post is about a hybrid of those two things. I'm assuming some people have seen the clip of Michael Richards performing at the Laugh Factory last friday.

Well, for those who haven't and don't know, Michael Richards is the actor who played Kramer in the show "Seinfeld." Now he is in his late 50s, performing stand-up comedy, and is a huge racist apparently. Obviously until now, he was a closet racist, but just last weekend, he came sprinting out of that closet.

Clearly, this guy is terrible. But what makes it worse is that he's known for being such a loveable klutz. His role on TV for years was the innocent buffoon, and even though actors are not at all like the roles they play most of the time, I would never expect this of Michael Richards. I like to think the best of celebrities unless they prove otherwise, and he definitely proved himself to be a first rate Mel Gibson (At least HE was wasted). Even when people were starting to argue with him, and he could have retracted his first outburst as some part of his act or something, he continues spouting racial slurs. If this doesn't kill his career, then there's something orribly wrong with Hollywood or America in general.

Also, I'd like to mention that I tried several times for about a half hour to get this same footage to play on CNN.com video, but it wouldn't load. So I go to Youtube, search for it, and click on the first link which loaded in 2 seconds. Youtube is great, and if it ran for president I would vote for it.
