Another Public Service Announcement

I've had a request for some quantification of the blogging requirement.

Here's the deal: I've asked you guys to post three times a week. There are 15 weeks in the semester. I'm not counting the first week, and I'm not counting the week I was away, and I'm not counting one other week, just for the heck of it. So let's call it 12 weeks, at three posts a week, which comes to 36 posts.

But that's of course just raw quantity, and doesn't take anything like quality into account. Which I of course consider. Quality includes things like how interesting and engaged your posts have been, and how often you've commented on other people's posts. Because of that, I'm not going to fully quantify what amount of posting will get you what grade. You might just figure, though, that my pretty generous assessment of the basic requirement was 36 posts, and (as the syllabus tells you) fulfilling the basic requirements of the course will get you a B+.

You've got until December 13 to wrap up your work on the blog. Happy posting.
