Balloons just for fun
When I was just a wee lad, I got a brand new Super Nintendo from Toys R Us. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Another one of the happiest days of my lives was when I got my nintendo 64. I remember hounding my parents for weeks leading up to Christmas whatever year that was. When I actually opened up that beautiful package, I was on top of the world. I can't really remember what year it was, but it was probably around 1995. Or so.
But that's not important right now. What is important is that I have rediscovered my Super Nintendo. The most impressive part about some of the early super nintendo games is the fact that they can be so fun yet so crappy. For example, if you do a trip to johnny cage, you can keep tripping him and there is nothing that he can do about it. Similarly, if you do a flying low kick to kano, he cannot get out of it. You just keep flying kick him and he can do nothing. You can't even block. If you time it correctly, you can get Kano down to almost no life without him ever getting the opportunity to touch you. Anyways, I really need to get a hold of Mortal Kombat II and III because they are even better. First of all, there are way more characters, and by that time they had the technology down so well that they could fit way more information into one of the game cartridges. I'm probably gonna ebay it.
