MS 190: Authorship is the course website for the Fall 2006 Media Studies senior seminar at Pomona College in Claremont, California.
COME TO MY WINDOW!
So I guess now I am going to reflect on blogs in general. I think blogging is somewhat amazing. For me, it is like keeping a journal. Only it easier than an actual journal because
1) your sister can't break into it (private entries, at least), and
2) it's an amazing archive of your life.
Unfortunately I pretty much stopped blogging last year. When I look back at old blogs from high school I feel dumb. I made some really retarded entries. I like to think that I've "matured" since high school, but the sad truth is I'll probably look back on this year's (few) entries and think I was just as retarded, if not more.
AN EXAMPLE:
December 13, 2002: I finished my Stanford College essays
December 13, 2003: I made a quiz on quizilla entitled: Which of of my Pomona Friends are you? Sadly it no longer works? Or it does, but I don't know how to find it. Actually I know how, but I don't want to.
(Erin Kiskis 30 seconds ago: I'm really glad you cleaned your room.
THIS IS A FACETIOUS REMARK. MY ROOM IS NOT CLEANED.)
December 13, 2004: My dad sent me an email assuring me that he put my Christmas Wish List "in the hopper" to the North Pole.
December 14, 2005 (no entry for the 13th): I returned to Pomona College from my Study Abroad in Florence to surprise my boyfriend, but I can't find him and it's very anticlimatic.
This is some of the magical wonder that is innate with blogs. Magical Wonder. If you want mimosas, come to my room.
