I've emailed Parenti that students are interested in discussing journalism and politics in the media. He is agreeable as long as topics don't duplicate what will be in his public lecture. We have the upcoming election and last week's financial meltdown to use as possible case studies. So, if you're attending this special session, please come with items to discuss.
