Mara Freedman is a senior at Pitzer College and will be graduating in December. For those of you who don't know her, Mara is not pronounced Maura, but rather similar to marinara, Marriott, marathon, marriage, amaryllis, amaretto..hopefully you get the point. Mara is currently writing a romantic comedy screenplay that she has been working on since the spring of 08. She is also currently interning with a production company called Darko Entertainment and hopes to pursue a career either in film or television (hopefully in writing) when she graduates. Mara has also worked on a number of horrible reality shows, and spent a year interning at Grey's Anatomy. During the Writer's Strike of last winter, she also interned at E! Online with their television column, Watch With Kristin. For her project for the class, Mara plans to write a screenplay about her various interning experiences that she has had over the past few years.
