Mia Cioffi Henry is a double media studies and production design major at Pitzer College, Claremont, CA. Originally from Washington, DC, she cites her main influences as her parents, both photographers, and Bob Dylan. Interested in the the field of cinematography as well as experimental animation, Mia uses all of her experience in many disciplines and mediums including, photography, scene design, costume design, painting, acting and dance to create her works which are often hands on, textural projects. Though Mia is graduating in May, she feels she is far from done learning and trying out new methods of expression, things she hopes to continue to do long after her liberal arts experience is over. Currently, you can find Mia every Monday and Thursday on campus, working in the media studies production center in the basement of Scott hall on the Pitzer campus.
