Caleb Light-Wills is a Psychology and Media Studies double major at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. Hailing from Princeton, New Jersey, he began producing videos as a hobby during his high school career in the form of short skateboarding clips. Many of the shooting and editing techniques found in these pieces continue to inform his work as a media-maker including the abundant use of wide-angle and fisheye lenses, tracking shots and a consistently quick-paced editing style. The larger part of his work can be found on his Youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Clwsk8sprinceton, excluding Chevalier, a 20-minute horror featurette, which is only available on a limited edition DVD format. His most recent work, The Experience, is a seven-part series, which was created during the semester he spent abroad in Italy during the spring of 2008. This work attempts to create a visual representation of each student’s experience on the Pitzer in Italy program during that semester. Additionally, Light-Wills is no stranger to the world of professional film and television. His credits include 2nd camera assistant on the 2007 BET Awards, key grip on the 2007 short Film Run Cody and production assistant for LX Networks during the summer of 2007.
