Maggi Massad is a senior media studies student at Pitzer College. She is in the digital/ new media track technically but is more interested in combining the digital/ new media track and the film/ video track.

Maggi also enjoys graphic design and interned at Laurie Dolphin Design during the summer of 2006. She has also worked as a freelance graphic designer for the past few years. Her most recent design was the logo and labels for Herbal World USA.

Maggi has recently realized she enjoys film as much if not more than graphic design. She particularly enjoys editing and production. This past summer she interned at New Dawn Studios, a small film/video/ photography studio in Carmel, CA.

After taking Professor Tran's intermediat video course last semester and being introduced to After Effects, Maggi has realized she is extremely interested in motion graphics because it combines graphic design and editing. She is eager to explore After Effects more this semester.

Maggi is also interested in working more on film/ video production in the future, particularly in the areas of art direction and sound.
