I'm a Senior at Scripps...critical studies track. I'm also majoring in foreign languages and just got back from studying abroad for a year in Italy. I am really interested in personality identity and using the media to construct our identities and how that evolved and emerged since Facebook, online dating, blogs, etc. In conjunction with this, I am particularly interested in the female identity and how technology and new media has forced the female to evolve, construct/reconstruct/deconstruct her personality in relation to changing technology, perhaps a new male gaze that has now been transformed technologically, and perhaps more pervasive.
