Samantha Sias, currently a senior at Scripps College. Im from Northern California and have been involved in the arts, in come capacity, throughout my life. I hope to graduate this May as a Media Studies Major, concentration in Digital Media, and Spanish Minor. While I've always been interested in design and the arts, it was not until recently that I began to delve in web design. After taking a basic course in Digital Imaging my interest in the subject intensified. While I have some knowledge of various programs, I would like to have a confidant command of Dreamweaver, Flash, and Illustrator.
My senior project is focused on the topic of Social Network Sites (SNS). I am collecting data on which SNS's are most popular, who is using them, and why people are investing so much time and energy into them. Once I have this data, I will create an online SNS Database.
