We haven't really ventured into the bluetooth domain of wireless everything. I will honestly admit that I only have a basic knowledge of bluetooth compatibility and software, but I know its product base is expanding. Its staple, as we all know, is the cell phone headset. That little device always causes me to double take random people driving in their cars talking to themselves, only themselves is that annoying little think on their ear. It definately was not made with the intent to be worn around others because the conversation constantly arrives at the question "Are you talking to me or the person on the phone?"

Bluetooth offers a new wave of immediacy, I think, or at least a new form of immediacy that still needs to be perfected. Take the latest product with bluetooth, an mp3 player. Now I don't even need my wired headphones, just a bluetooth headset. This seems pretty cool at first glance as it gets rid of those pesky wires. I think they solved a problem I didn't even know I had. Anyway, music can now be listened to in class without the teacher knowing, increasing our immediacy to the sounds we love so much.
