Movie theater
From Introduction to New Media
A place thats houses the newest movies for screening purposes. Most of the new theaters offer stadium seating and a wide variety of different movies. They take advantage of monopoly power in the way that they way over charge for popcorn, candy, soda, and water. (At the theater I worked, the kernels of popcorn that lasted for two weeks cost $20 and just imagine how much that sells for in popcorn form... a lot)
