For my mid term project I would like to create a blog with a number of different posts that together will constitute the paper. The subject under study will be the theory of nonlinear text and how it works in new media. I plan on using both video and text based pages exploring the critical aspects of hypertext and the possibilities it opens through such materials as Ivanhoe, Joyce's Afternoon, Borges's the Garden of Forking Paths. Hopefully I want to make my project to show the indefiniteness of ideas presented by this media. On a blog all ideas and posts are malleable and not absolute, and I want o explore the implications of this concept of online text in my project.
