I came across this art piece/article in the New York Times. It’s really interesting, though I’m not really sure what it means. Any ideas?

Yeah, I saw this one, too. There is definitely something about it that is very pleasing to read, although after looking over it I can’t pinpoint any specific issues it brought to mind. I think the important thing is the feel-good vibe it all has—the simple message (self-confidence) is uplifting enough in the end that you can’t help but leaving feeling satisfied. And, just to connect it all back to this course, I think the piece itself is a wonderful bit of paper-based hypermedia. The juxtaposition of the text alongside everything from sketchy outlines to full-bodied drawings to colorful photographs allows it to work on a level that writing alone could never achieve. Kudos to Maira Kalman.
