I thought the whole passage about the seizure was intreguing-- do people remember what having a seizure is like? Or did Wallace just make it up? because it seemed incredibly realistic- very conscious by uncontrolled. How he would decide not to do something (swallow his tongue or bite the hand) but he did anyway, or hows "he didn't feel one bit like a puppet. he thought of gaffed fish"

I wonder where Wallace got these ideas...
