I haven't seen this movie in ages, I forgot just how awesome it is.
Though does the main villain really need to be an eccentric poetry-quoting englishman?

My roommate professed her love for this movie and mentioned something about kangaroo sex before I had the chance to watch it. All I can say is...wow. Tank Girl was an interesting experience. I think the plot of the movie was definitely appropriate in conjunction with this week's reading assignment. I feel like I take water for granted...
The comic book style really got into my head wow.
I actually really enjoyed the movie, and had read up on it first so I knew kangaroo sex was coming, but really, did not expect it like that.
Did anyone else notice that almost every single Kangaroo was black?
Watched it with a friend, and her favorite line: "Feeling a little inadequate?"
One last thing. Where was Sub Girl? Did I just blink and miss her?
ok even one more thing. Tank Girl=Gwen Stefani. Resemblance is uncanny.
Oh yes...black kangaroos = racist undertones anyone? I think that someone brought this up in class but for a comic series/film that is so freewheeling about sex and gender roles, Tank Girl seems awfully white-supremacist. Doesn't prevent it from being kickass though. Although that's a huge problem in and of itself...the racist elements of the movie are kind of shoved under the rug and not talked about as much. Damn, why do I like it anyway?
