Anarchism

From MarxWiki

Anarchism was one of the leading political philosophies to develop in the 19th century in Europe. The term is used in reference to numerous political philosophies and social movements which all advocate the elimination of government, social hierarchy, and all forms of imposed authority. An Anarchist’s main goal is achieving individual freedom. Anarchists believe that without government, societies have the ability to interact peacefully through voluntary cooperation. Although the various anarchist factions agree on this point, there is considerable debate on the role of violence and property in society. Theorists Peter Kropotkin and Mikhail Bakunin are often associated with modern anarchism.
