High art

high art are forms of culture that are considered `important.` Viewed as elite cultural forms opera, classical music and symphonic orchestra as three examples of `high art.` These forms of culture are not marketed to the masses and are seen as elite because you have to be `educated` and `sophisticated` enough to understand them. High art is in a binary relationship with ` Low Art` or art for the masses.
