Leninism

From MarxWiki

A political an economic theory and derivative of Marxism set into practice by Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin after the Russian Revolution. Lenin argued that the proletariat could revolt only under the auspices of a communist party, which served as a revolutionary vanguard. Leninism further states that the communist revolution must spread to other countries in order to survive and that a revolution in a country with little or no capitalism would inevitably lead to international conflict. The theory of Leninism also held that capitalist societies were avoiding proletariat revolution by sending their excess production to colonies. Lenin believed that imperialism and colonialism were the highest stages of capitalism. This structure is the inspiration for the Chinese Communist Revolution in China and Maoism.
