Manichaeism

Manichaeism- Defined as a syncretic religious based on the duality between the physical and the spiritual, the word describes a set of beliefs that are dichotomous. Frantz Fanon uses the word Manichaeism in his book The Wretched of the Earth, to describe the modernist western ideologies of humanism that elevated that status of the philosophical “man†while simultaneously justifying vicious colonialism, racism, rape, murder and genocide.
