War of maneuver

Discussed by Gramsci in the Prison Notebooks. War of maneuver is a war of force (like the taking the military and staging a coup). It is abouut specific instances and specific conflicts. For a war of maneuver to work, a war of position must occur first because ideological positions are more difficult to change then who controls the government.
